“Check, Please!” Highlights Area Restaurants

If you haven’t already checked out KCPT ’s new “Check, Please!”, then you have missed Kansas City’s newest TV show where regular folks review their favorite restaurant, cafe, bistro, fine dining establishment, diner or neighborhood hangout. Each week three guest reviewers join host Doug Frost to dish out the goods on their best beloved local eatery. Reviewers visit all three restaurants then sit around the table to discuss their experiences.
Four of our KansasCityMenus restaurants have already been featured as favorites in the first few weeks of the show- Lill’s on 17th, Le Fou Frog, Cafe Trio and Harry’s Country Club. Check the KCPT website to learn when the shows will be re-aired and for future broadcasts.

I watch your show that reviewed Paradise India. Were those people paid to give those reviews? Totally misleading review. Service terrible. Buffet claimed to have 40 items I count maybe twenty, but most of those items were empty pans. This was a half an hour after it opened up. So it was like they we swamped and hadn’t been able to keep up. Never go back to this restuarant and will be wary of the places your show recommends.

Hi Kelly,
We don’t produce the TV show, “Check, Please” but did write about it on our blog in March of 2009 when it featured several of our KansasCityMenus restaurants. It is produced by local public television station KCPT.
