Come experience the youngest culinary talent in Kansas City! The students of Broadmoor are teaming up with chefs Colby and Megan Garrelts of bluestem for a very special dinner to benefit the James Beard Scholarship Fund.

Truffled Panna Cotta with Golden Trout Roe
First Course:
Heirloom Beets, Fall Greens, Pont-l Eveque, Candied Pecans, Black Garlic Vinaigrette
Second Course:
Deconstructed Squash Soup, Duck Confit, Etienne Dupont, Cider Emulsion
Third Course:
Wild Coho Salmon, Oxtail, Wild Indian Rice, Braised Greens, Lemon Vermouth Emulsion
Fourth Course:
Oven Roasted Piedmontese Tenderloin, Horseradish Whipped Potato, Spiced Carrots, Pomegranate
Fifth Course:
Milk Chocolate Bread Pudding, Candied Figs, Warm Butterscotch Sauce
Dinner is $50.00 per person all inclusive

Your attendance at this remarkable dinner not only benefits the James Beard Foundation, but also gives the students of Broadmoor a chance to work and learn alongside some of Kansas City’s best chefs as they experience what it takes to produce multi-course dinners. The culinary students of Broadmoor will work with chefs Colby and Megan Garrelts and produce bluestem recipes in their kitchen. The students will not only be preparing the dinner for the evening, but also serving the guests. Experience this wonderful dinner and support the next up and coming chefs of Kansas City!
