A warm KansasCityMenus welcome goes to our newest member, The Majestic Restaurant. Housed in the historic Fitzgerald Building, this former saloon and speakeasy has been on the National Register of Historic Places since the 1980’s. The Majestic Restaurant’s new owners, Frank and Jolynn Sebree, bring a fresh new menu and feel to this downtown landmark.
The bistro menus features seafood entrees such as Grilled Yellowfin Tuna with Wasabi Butter and Grilled Salmon with Buerre Blanc; succulent Free Range Chicken; grilled Lamb Chops with Rosemary-Honey Bordelaise; and an impressive assortment of tender Steaks and Prime Rib. For the lighter diner there are an assortment of appetizers, salads and sandwiches such as a juicy Buffalo Burger or a Trio of Sliders.
Enjoy live perfomances by some of the area’s finest Jazz muscians in the former downstairs speakeasy on Friday and Saturday nights and during Happy Hour in the dining room. The old charm of the mirrored, polished wooden bar, high pressed-tin ceiling, and blue and white tiled floor will take you back to another era in Kansas City. The Majestic is also a great venue for private parties and business events. Open Monday - Friday for lunch and every day for dinner.
