Restaurant Week Kicks Off

I have been in Denver in the midst of their Restaurant Week and thought it was a great idea. The launch of the Kansas City version begins January 22 and runs through January 31. The participating restaurants are offering lunch and dinner deals, say a $15 lunch and $30 dinner, and 10% of the proceeds will benefit Kansas City’s Harvesters Food Bank. The help for Harvesters could not come at a better time with the slowdown in the economy bringing increased demand for their services.
Ten KansasCityMenus restaurants are participating in the weeklong event: Zest, Yia Yias, Sheilds Manor Bistro, Piropos, re:Verse, La Bodega, Harry’s Country Club, Chaz on the Plaza, Cafe Trio and Aixois.
