The winter doldrums got you down? A great alternative to staying in and feeling blue is getting out and trying something new. Several fabulous wine and dinner events are scheduled for the next few weeks and you still have time to make your reservations.
Zest, January 20, 6:30 p.m. Explore the differences and similarities between wines grown and produced in two of America’s most esteemed wine producing regions. Steve Hosmer of Constellation Wines will guide you though wines from Robert Mondavi and Franciscan Napa as well as Simi and Blackstone Sonoma Reserves. The wines will be paired with food specially selected to enhance the flavors in both. Seats are limited so call 913-381-5678 to reserve your spot.
Cafe des Amis, January 31, 6:00 p.m. Join Tom O’Connor from Bommarito Wine Company for a five course dinner paired with Five French wines. Reservations can be made by calling 816-587-6767.
Paulo and Bill, February 23, 6:30 p.m. The first Wine Dinner of the new year for Paulo and Bill will feature fine Hogue Wines with a five course dinner created and paired by Chef Jesus Capetillo and Pastry Chef Yaquelin Garcia. Call 913-962-9900 for reservations.
