Garrelts Named Finalist

The word is out and Colby is in! This morning the James Beard Foundation announced the finalists for this year’s awards and bluestem owner/chef Colby Garrelts is a finalist for Best Chef Midwest. Colby and wife, Megan, opened bluestem to rave reviews six years ago and have been reaping kudos and rewards ever since. The finalists are to gather in New York, May 2-3, to learn who will receive the nation’s most prestigious recognition honoring professionals in the food and beverage industry for 2010. Congratulations to one of KC’s finest!
