Good news!  The Open Table reservations system has initiated a diner rating system called “Diner’s Choice” for restaurants that use OT and Trio has received Top 10 ratings in 6 categories.

Diners who make and use their reservation have an opportunity to rate the restaurants according to a set of lists. They rank and review a venue they just visited in each category.

Here are  Trio’s current Top 10 placements:

Best Service

If you haven’t tried the newest taste sensation in the Starlet Lounge, perhaps you will want to drop by and sample the “Mommie Dearest”, aka the Joan Crawford. 

This tart and tangy pomegranate cocktail was created as a tongue in cheek homage to all mothers, good and bad — with a touch of decorative whimsy! 

It’s a yummy special for the whole month of May at $7.

The May issue of KC Magazine is hitting the newstands and mailboxes and includes the nominees for the 2008  “Best of KC” awards.  Trio is nominated in 4 categories this year and faces stiff competition in each of them, including: Best Overall Restaurant, Best Midtown Restaurant, Best Martini, & Best Happy Hour.

We congratulate all the nominees and extend special kudos to many of our regular guests who are nominated this year.  A big shout out goes to all the KC Originals restaurants that fill out many of the slots lots of restaurant categories.
