The James Beard Foundation announced the finalists for their 2010 awards today. Kansas City’s own Colby Garrelts has been named a finalist for Best Chef Midwest. The talented chef/owner of bluestem, opened the restaurant with wife, Megan, just six years ago and has been earning awards and respect ever since.
