KC is not just BBQ
Kansas City’s secret is getting out. The recent issue of Texas Journey Magazine touts our town as the “Paris of the Plains”. The writer was completely surprised that she could eat something besides great BBQ. A couple of places she did discover were La Bodega and bluestem.

Restaurant Week Kicks Off
Kansas City’s first Restaurant Week will benefit Harvesters Food Bank. Popular in many other cities around the country, the first in Kansas City features 10 of our restaurants and 10% of all proceeds will be directed towards helping fill the ever-increasing demand for Harvesters services. The event begins January 22 and runs through the 31st.

The Majestic Restaurant - All New, Same Historic Charm
The newest member of KansasCityMenus is housed in one of the downtown’s oldest historic buildings. The Majestic Restaurant recently opened under new ownership in the grand old Fitzgerald Building, a former saloon and speakeasy listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The new bistro menu features seafood, lamb chops and steaks as well as salads, sandwiches and an array of appetizers for the lighter palate. Live jazz performances will entertain you during happy hour in the dining room and on the weekends in the former speakeasy downstairs.
